The Chair of Marketing and Brand Management (Prof. Dr Franziska Völckner) conducts teaching and research in the field of marketing, with a particular focus on the challenges and opportunities arising from the transformation of the economy and society as a result of digitalisation, AI-driven disruption, resource scarcity and climate change. Research areas include digital technologies and platforms, virtual and augmented reality, automation, brand and customer experience management, and sustainable consumption. We work on practice-relevant research topics in the above-mentioned areas, often involving large datasets and/or laboratory and field experiments. We are part of an international network of collaborating universities and companies.
