Curriculum Vitae 

Dr. Lars Kaiser is a Postdoctoral Researcher and “Akademischer Rat” at the Chair of Marketing Science and Analytics at the University of Cologne. He received his doctoral degree from the University of Cologne in 2023, where he has been affiliated with the chair since November 2017.
Kaiser holds a Master's Degree in Business Administration with a major in Marketing and a minor in Management from the University of Münster. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Bayreuth and additionally studied at Marmara University in Istanbul and BI Norwegian Business School in Oslo.
His research focuses on unethical corporate behaviour and its consequences for firms and consumers, the marketing-finance interface, and politicized consumer behaviour. His work combines empirical methods with a strong interest in the practical implications of marketing decisions in politically and ethically charged contexts.
During his academic training, he worked as a student research assistant at the Department of Marketing and Media Research in Münster and served as a tutor for “Principles of Marketing” and “Strategic Marketing” at the Chair of Marketing and Consumer Behaviour in Bayreuth. Beyond academia, Kaiser gained national and international professional experience in fields such as politics, consulting, business-to-business marketing and human resources management.
