Sridhar Moorthy


Sridhar Moorthy is Professor and Manny Rotman Chair in Marketing at Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto. He received his Ph.D. from Stanford University, and has taught previously at Rochester, Yale, INSEAD, UCLA, Wharton, and ISB. His current research focuses on behavioral pricing effects in real estate, marketing's role under preference uncertainty, and how advertising works for experience goods like movies. His previous work has been published in Marketing Science, Journal of Marketing Research, Rand Journal of Economics, and Journal of Economic Theory. He has served as Editor of Quantitative Marketing and Economics, Area Editor of Marketing Science, Associate Editor of Management Science, and as a Senior Consultant to CRA Associates.
