About
Nathaniel “Nate” Hartmann is an Assistant Professor of Marketing and Innovation at the University of South Florida and senior researcher in the Center for Marketing and Sales Innovation (CMSI). I focus on improving sales force effectiveness as evidenced in (1) salesperson outcomes such as revenue generated, conversion rates, and turnover, and (2) customer-centric outcomes such as customer satisfaction and retention. My current research is characterized by the application of diverse artificial intelligence and causal inference modeling approaches to real-world data accessed through company partnerships. My research has offered novel insights to companies, appeared in over 25 peer reviewed scientific articles, and has been recognized with the prestigious Hunt/Maynard Award for making some of the most important contributions to the marketing field.
