Qiong Tang

Qiong Tang is an assistant professor at the University of Groningen. She received her Ph.D. in marketing from Freie Universität Berlin in 2023, with her dissertation focusing on corporate brand-related information disclosure. Her research units her academic background in finance and accounting and marketing strategies, covering topics in marketing-finance interface, marketing human capital, and digital marketing. Her research employs quantitative methodologies, natural language processing, and machine learning. In her recent projects, she uses empirical approaches to study the social media activities of Chief Marketing Officers and the racial/gender of Chief Marketing Officers.
