Youngtak Kim

about

Youngtak Kim is an assistant professor of marketing at the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville (PhD, University of Georgia). His research interests are in sustainability, new product development, marketing dualities, and sales. Specifically, he looks at the firm performance implications of sustainable new products on financial and market-based measures. He has won multiple awards including the 2022 EMAC-Sheth Foundation Sustainability Research Competition, the 2022 INFORMS Society for Marketing Science Doctoral Dissertation Research Grant, and the 2021 Business for a Better World Competition. His research has appeared in the Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science. Before academia, he spent seven years working in consulting and market research. In his free time, Youngtak enjoys traveling, singing, watching sports, and spending time with his wife and one-year-old.
