Philip Pollmann-Fervers

Philip Pollmann-Fervers is a doctoral candidate at the Chair in Marketing Science and Analytics at the University of Cologne. His main research interest lies in measuring the impact of digital marketing on firm performance in various contexts (e.g., online reviews, social media marketing in the pharmaceutical industry). Methodologically, Philip focuses on econometric modeling as well as unstructured data analysis through machine learning and natural language processing models. His research has been published in academic journals and presented at academic conferences such as EMAC, Marketing Science and the Marketing Strategy Meets Wall Street Conference. Prior to entering the PhD program, Philip graduated in Business Administration at the University of Cologne, Germany, with a focus on Marketing, and studied International Management at the University of Texas at Dallas, USA, during a study abroad program.
