Rafid Ur Rahman

Rafid Ur Rahman is a PG Researcher (PhD Candidate) at the Marketing Department, Leeds University Business School. He has been conducting his research since October 2020 with Prof. Constantine S. Katsikeas, Dr. Martin Heinberg and Dr. Sourindra Banerjee as his advisor. Rafid’s research interest encompasses the field of Retail analytics for strategic decisions, Brand sales growth and Consumer purchase value mechanisms, Consumer unintentional signalling, and Collateral impact of geo-political armed conflicts. Methodologically, Rafid focuses on using panel data econometrics, impact analysis and deeper purchase intention techniques. His research has been presented at academic conferences such as EMAC, AMA Global Sig, AMA Winter, AIB World, and AIB UK&I. Prior to entering the PhD program, Rafid worked as a Digital Marketing Analyst at the Dentsu Aegis Network where he worked deeply with clients such as Vimplecom, Disney and Sony. In addition, he has worked on multiple projects with Google and Airbus EADC at the San Francisco and Hamburg offices respectively.
