Xi (Rachel) Lin
About
Xi (Rachel) Lin is a first-year PhD student in Marketing. Scheller School of Business, Georgia Institute of Technology (US), where she conducts research with Prof. Adithya Pattabhiramaiah. Her research interest mainly lies in the field of quantitative research on topics including environmental impact of marketing practices, media and cultural products, social media, digital marketing, and AI application in marketing. She is keen on utilizing text analysis and image analysis in marketing research. Her work involves the carbon footprint quantification of shared mobility services, the antecedents and consequences of bingeability of TV series, and the impacts of the satirical awards. Before joining Georgia Tech, she obtained her master’s degree in Marketing at Shanghai University of Finance and Economics (SUFE, China), and had one-year visiting experience at the University of Arizona (US).
