Zipei Lu
About
Zipei is a 4th year PhD candidate at University of Maryland, where she conducts research with Prof. P. K. Kannan. Her research interests include Machine Learning, AI, Customer Journey and Privacy. She mainly applies tools from machine learning to help firm manage customer journeys and provide modeling solutions under privacy regulations. Zipei's research has won multiple awards including the 2023 ISMS Doctoral Dissertation Early-Stage Research Grants and Amazon Research Awards Spring/Summer 2022. Prior to joining the PhD program, she got her M.S. in Marketing from University of Maryland and B.S. in Physics from Fudan University in Shanghai.
